                     IJMC - Middle Age Sucks

I spend more time doing fewer things and enjoying them less. Not good. Not
good at all. Working on quitting that...time to start picking the cereal
for the toys again...always preferred Corn Pops to Total Raisin Bran
anyway. Tastes better...and sometimes you get a nice slimy green gel toy
that you can throw against the window and watch it roll down. -dave

raising teenagers is like nailing jell-o to a tree.

there is always a lot to be thankful for if you take the time to look. for
example, think how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

car sicknessis the feeling you get when the monthly payment is due.

today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held it's ground.

laughing helps. it's like jogging on the inside.

middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.

my mind not only wanders, but sometimes it leaves completely.

if you can remain calm, you just don't have all the facts.

it's bad to supress laughter. it goes back down and spreads to your hips.

inside some of us is a thin person struggling to get out, but they can
usually be sedated with a few pieces of chocolate cake.
