IJMC - Child Abuse Quilts
Hate to start the week off with a downer, but this site is worth seeing.
The quilts these people have put together are quite amazing and often
heart wracking at the same time. Child abuse is not a pretty subject. Yet
children are still abused by those they love and trust while others often
look the other way. Most everyone has known one of these kids, the kid
who's "accident prone" or just "clumsy", it's never their fault. I wish I
knew what we could do to end such things...for now, just spend a few
minutes of your time looking at the labors of others to help bring
awareness to those who need it. Maybe you can be the one to help shed a
little light upon the one who needs it now. -dave
Howdy guys! My poster quilt is on the web! the quilts are in alphabetical
order by maker. Warning! some are very good but so heartbreaking! maybe
look at a couple at a time, the artist's statements are included. The
international QS in Japan wants to book them. Haven't heard if they are
going or not! how exciting! getting feedback on where they've been and
they are touching people! All we can ask for!
If you have trouble accessing the site and want to see them, let me
know!

" All the full-quilt shots are up there, along with your statement etc.
starts at the URL below and then you can just click one page to the next.
I'm forseeing replacing the pics on the sneak peek pages with small
versions of the full shots... but haven't decided how that page should
look."
