IJMC The Things Children Say...Take #42

              IJMC - The Things Children Say...Take #42

What do you do, when you have a great bunch of kids who probably just
need a little direction to help find themselves...and their support
structure thinks they need to decide for themselves what to do? They need
a little push, and all they're getting is a pull. They're being told to
do for themselves, yet remain children, and they're not trusted with
responsibility either. Largest form of discrimination I see left in this
country, age discrimination. And this group's being hit with it, hard.
Too young to be trusted, but old enough they're told to do for
themselves, and you wonder why they're lethargic and confused and
rebellious? Sorry for the rambling, I'm just still really distraught over
what I sat through tonight. I hope you enjoy the post, it's cute. -dave

What Do These Animals Say?

A mother was reading a book about animals to her 3 year old daughter:

Mother: "What does the cow say?"

Child: "Moooooooooo!"

Mother: "Great! What does the cat say?"

Child: "Meow."

Mother: "Oh, you're so smart! What does the frog say?"

The wide-eyed little three-year-old looked up at her mother and
replied, "Bud."
