IJMC - So What Is Reality?
I'm almost scared that Microsoft may take this as mantra. Tonight's post
comes via a member of the IJMC who kindly translated it from the original
Swedish. I'm personally a big fan of number 12, and I have trouble
believing that more people don't do this... -dave
How do you make reality more web-like? Here are a few helpful suggestions:
1. Double-click on light switches
2. Put sprayglue on the pages in the paper so that browsing through it
takes more time
3. Watch out for viri when you take home stuff
4. Put bookmarks on your favourite places
5. Check your mailbox every ten minutes
6. Start newsgroups at the noticeboard at the supermarket
7. Retrieve old things from the trashcan that you regret throwing away
8. Put up a clock/hourglass when you're working really hard
9. When you want to stress an emotion, hold your head vertically and make
faces
10. Start all conversations with a subject lline*
11. Put up wallpapers in desktop-patterns
12. If something goes wrong during the day, press restart, go home, get
back to bed and start over
*could it be that the spelling of Llama is just a mistake by someone who
had a tic or something, and now the error has spread worldwide, even into
Monty Python movies?
This was translated from swedish (exept for the llama part), so please
don't be picky about something that might sound odd.
bye bye
