IJMC X-Files is Like a Box of Chocolates

IJMC - X-Files is Like a Box of Chocolates

I do watch the X-Files. I saw the episode in question. It was great.
Sorry I don't have a sound bite to attach, but that's just too tough.
Watch the X-Files. Tell Fox to send me money. Send me money. -dave

For those of you who don't watch X-files, during last week's episode
you missed one hell of a cynical parody of Forrest(sp?) Gump's
infamous "life is like a box o' chocolates" soliloquy. It is spoken by
the show's most notorious "mystery character pseudo-villain" types after
an awful moment of disenchantment. Just wanted to share with all of you.

"Life is like a box of chocolates.

"A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for.
Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So
you're stuck with this undefineable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly
wolf down because there's nothing else left to eat.

"Sure, once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or an English toffee,
but they're gone too fast. The taste is... fleeting.

"They end up in nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and
teeth-shattering nuts. You're desperate enough to eat those and all
you've got left is an empty box filled with useless brown paper
wrappers."
