Tonight I'll let the contributor of this piece introduce it to you. 
Although to answer your question TS, it's generally because if I leave an 
email address or a name attached, people assume that person is the author 
of the piece, where generally they simply forwarded it on to me. Also, 
I've received complaints in the past from contributors for all the email 
they sometimes receive after I send something out with their name

I have been reading your junk mails since a looong time, and I must admit 
that I enjoy quite a lot of them. I thought I would contribute to this 
process with a short example from my little collection.

PS: By the way, why do you hide the names and locations of the people who 
send you the mail. I think it would be more fun if we could get a rough 
idea of where the mails are coming from.

20-30, She is like America; fully discovered
                            scientifically perfect
30-35, She is like India & Japan; very hot, wise 
                                  and beautiful
35-40, She is like France; half destroyed but
                           still desirable
40-45, She is like Germany; she lost the war
                            but not the hope
50-60, She is like Russia; very wide, very quiet
                           but nobody goes there
60-70, She is like England; with a glorious past
                            but no future
